From there I bought the game myself, and me and my brother were enthralled with norrath everyday for 3 years. I dont think any other game made today could hold someone's attention like classic Everquest could and I would love to relive the memories all over again. |

This petition is great seeing the requests sought-to keep it original with my favorite expansions and the bugs and content un-touched. I threw out my copies of EQ because I felt it would be too much of a hassle to make my way back up to 80th season, but seeing that they wish to keep the levels at the same range, I see no difficulties and am certain that other folks who thoroughly enjoyed EQ will be getting back to the game if it is re-released. That signature "The Undersigned" is true, those who loved this game will jump at the opportunity to play this game again. |

| 1069. | JM | I Played EQ for 5 years, starting just after the Kunark expansion. I also went to the April 19-20th 2002 Fan Faire at the Double Tree Hotel in Seattle, Washington. I was hooked the first time i played EQ and still vividly remember my first Barbarian Rogue character. It was like all the tumblers falling into place taking those first steps into EQ, and i remember thinking, "this is perfect", "this is exactly the game i always wanted". I have no doubt that i would still be playing today if it wasn't for Luclin. Please add a classic server. I want my game back, we all do. |

Final fantasy 7 was a great game, and it had an end. Sometimes we go back and play it again from the beginning. Everquest classic, in the same sense, will have an "end". It's OK for a game to have an end, and most of the best games in history did. We still want the ability to go back and play it again. Classic EQ doesn't exist.
The way to solve this is with two servers. On about a 3-year cycle, merge the players from server A into server B and reset server A. Besides name conflicts, problem solved. |
