Actions had real consequences - something that more modern MMOs are lacking. EQ's significant death penalty and the CR process ensured that you felt a real sense of danger in the world. I would completely devote my MMO time to such a server if it was released. |

I quit for a few years after the release of Luclin because of my disappointment with the expansion. It felt like the community had been splintered. Please bring the classic back. |

| 1173. | BS | I played EQ since its early release. I love the game and it went downhill after luclin. I quit shortly after PoP went back a few times but only for about a month or two. Nothing felt better than the sense of adventure that the old style had. Its just simply irreplaceable. |

| 1166. | IH | I am a german player and played EverQuest from it's initial release until shortly before the release of Gates of Discord on the servers Rallos Zek and later Sullon Zek after it's release. I played other MMORPGs before and after, but nothing comes even close to the blast I had (and the great memories I still have) with the classic Everquest.
