Rekindling Desire For Classic EverQuest

The Classic EverQuest Petition was created as a service to SOE and for the Classic fans who want to enjoy the game again. We have provided the tools to help achieve the goal of a Classic EverQuest server and to rekindle the desire for Old Norrath, but it is the fans themselves who will show how popular the idea is through their support by signing the petition and spreading the word.
If you have signed the petition and know others that might be interested in Classic EverQuest, we encourage you to let them know about our site so they may sign it as well. The more signatures we have on the petition, the more powerful a message it conveys, and the faster it will spread. With your efforts, we can ensure Classic EverQuest fans everywhere are able to find out about the petition.
We have some new tools to help you assist in the quest for signatures.

To all of you looking for a true classic EQ server it already exists and is called Al-Kabor. Yes it is indeed mac only (the EQ mac client) but it is content through planes of power only. Maybe PoP is where some think things went off the rails, but its certainly close to the so called holy trinity of the first 3 expansions. Some who say things like I'd pay 50 dollars a month should just invest that 50 dollars in a 500 buck mac mini (which can easily handle the very low classic EQ specs) and play today.

The EQMac server is not Classic because it goes beyond the Velious content, ruleset, and UI, and it is not what Classic EverQuest enthusiasts want. If it was, this petition would not exist.
